We embrace multiple viewpoints and value our differences. We do not homogenise our different backgrounds into teams of like-minded robots.

Interdisciplinary
Currently completing a DPhil in Statistics at the University of Oxford, working on efficient Bayesian inference methods for applications in epidemiology and computational biology.
MSc in Health Data Analytics and Machine Learning from Imperial College London, with experience in statistical inference, high-dimensional data and generative models for biological problems.
Worked as a Data Science Analyst at Accenture on projects involving database design, data modelling, and business analytics.
Expertise in statistical modelling, machine learning and applied data analysis, with experience working across noisy, complex and high-dimensional data in practical settings.
Sophie holds a Master's in Computer Science from the University of Oxford and is completing her PhD.
She has presented at top conferences like CVPR and ICCV, collaborated internationally, and worked with the Oxford Law Faculty on AI in trademark law.
In 2022 she co-founded the carbon capture startup Cequestre, winning the StEP Ignite entrepreneurship programme.
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, and Society (STS) from Stanford University. An MSc from the University of Oxford’s Internet Institute in the Social Science of the Internet.
In my DPhil at the Oxford Internet Institute and research at the AI + Planetary Justice Alliance, I am examining the social and environmental implications of AI hardware and infrastructure.
As a Tech Ethics and Policy Fellow at Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI), I worked at the intersection of AI governance, ethics, and policy.
More recently, I worked on a go-to-market strategy for an early-stage, Y Combinator-backed startup.
