Why koralli?
koralli stood out to me for its distinctive interdisciplinary approach to consulting. I strongly believe that solving today’s biggest challenges requires the integration of diverse disciplinary perspectives and skillsets. Having pursued an interdisciplinary education, I knew that I wanted a career that would allow me to apply and continue developing this way of thinking.
While consulting appealed to me for its exposure to different challenges across industries, I found that many companies relied on similar frameworks despite promising variety. I was therefore drawn to koralli’s commitment to centering diverse ways of thinking and its focus on creating holistic and bespoke solutions for clients. koralli’s emphasis on harnessing AI and emerging technologies in a responsible way also resonates deeply with my interests, confirming that it is the ideal environment for me to meaningfully contribute and continue growing.
My Skills
I’m a versatile generalist with strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills. My academic training taught me to synthesise complex information and develop clear evidence-based recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences. The interdisciplinary nature of my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees also taught me to learn quickly in unfamiliar domains and collaborate effectively with specialists across fields. I strengthened this adaptability through professional roles spanning research, consulting, operations, communications, and marketing. Having worked across several sectors, I am comfortable with managing ambiguity and navigating steep learning curves.
My Expertise
Across my BASc in Arts and Sciences at UCL, and my MSc in Social Science of the Internet at the Oxford Internet Institute, I focused on investigating the social, political and economic impacts of digital infrastructures. My undergraduate thesis examined Google’s Equiano fibre optic cable in the context of the “scramble for Africa,” assessing how narratives of connectivity shape development priorities. At Oxford, I deepened my knowledge in AI regulation, algorithmic bias, digital sovereignty, and the political economy of digital markets, culminating in a thesis where I proposed a framework to evaluate the effectiveness of digital sovereignty initiatives through both their rhetoric and realisation.
My Experience
I have experience working in agile, early-stage environments. Most recently, I worked at ThreeFold, a decentralised cloud company, where I supported the launch of their infrastructure in Tanzania. The role required me to switch hats constantly, jumping between stakeholder coordination, project management and research roles. I gained practical insight into technology deployment in emerging markets and the importance of prioritising local contexts.
I also bring consulting experience from a previous project with Allianz Reinsurance, where I worked in a multidisciplinary team to analyse the global risk-pool landscape. We identified key success factors for sustainable pool design and developed a standardised tool to compare and evaluate existing risk pool structures, supporting future research and investment decisions. The work illustrated the value of integrating perspectives from economics, politics, and geography, as well as language skills, to be able to fully understand technical source material and build a genuinely holistic assessment.
